Simal Gormus is a self-taught Turkish photographer based in Toronto. Inspired by artists from Anatolia and beyond, her work strives to capture vibrant images that touch on self discovery, curiosity and belonging.
She tries to travel as much as possible to meet with and learn from other people and communities, aiming to photograph unique moments.
